Where can I buy a pre-painted front bumper that matches my car's paint code?

Right here. Every front bumper on this page is a brand-new genuine OEM or OE-replacement bumper cover, and the listing says which. At checkout you give us your VIN and your factory paint code. We confirm both with the vehicle manufacturer, mix the color to that code in PPG Envirobase waterborne paint, spray the bumper, and ship it to your door anywhere in the United States. No body shop visit, no primered part sitting in the garage, and the price you see on the product page already includes the paint.

If you are not sure what your code is, our guide to finding your paint code by VIN shows where the sticker is on every make we sell.

What a painted front bumper costs by make

These are the real prices in our catalog as of October 2026, painted and delivered. The typical price is the middle listing for that make; the range is where the middle half of its bumpers sit. Makes with fewer than ten front bumpers listed are left out so the numbers stay honest.

Toyota, Subaru and Honda owners pay the least, usually under $900 painted. BMW and Audi sit around $1,550, and the gap is almost entirely the bare part: manufacturers price their bumpers very differently, and covers with sensor openings, washer ports and separate trim pieces cost more to begin with. The paint process and the lifetime paint warranty are the same on every one. The full breakdown, including rear bumpers and what a body shop respray is made of, is in our bumper painting cost guide.

Front bumper or front bumper cover?

What most drivers call the bumper is the bumper cover, the painted plastic skin that fits over the steel or aluminum reinforcement bar. The cover is what takes the parking lot scrapes and the deer, and it is what we sell painted. The reinforcement bar behind it almost never needs replacing in a minor hit. If yours is bent, that is a body shop job before any cover goes on. Painted rear bumpers work the same way.

Modern bumper covers are not interchangeable within a model year. One trim has parking sensor holes, another has headlamp washer ports, a third adds a tow hook opening or a different lower grille. That is why every order runs through a VIN check with the manufacturer before anything is ordered or sprayed. The version that fits your build is the one that gets painted.

How the factory color match happens

Your car's paint has a code printed on the information sticker, usually in the driver's door jamb. We confirm that code and the part fitment with your vehicle manufacturer, mix to the formula behind it, and spray in PPG Envirobase High Performance waterborne paint. Paint work takes 5 days once the bumper reaches our shop, and most orders arrive in 5 to 7 business days. The cure times, what the lifetime warranty covers and how to care for the finish in the first weeks are on our paint process page.

Packed flat, because paint cracks when you fold it

Folding a bumper to squeeze it into a smaller box is how stress cracks happen. Ours travel flat in protective wrap, full size and fully insured, so the finish arrives the way it left the booth. Details are on the turnaround and shipping page.

Can I install a painted front bumper myself?

On most cars, yes, with basic hand tools. The cover is held by clips and screws along the wheel wells, the underside and the top edge under the hood, and the grille, fog lamps and sensors transfer across from your old cover. We wrote a step by step guide: how to replace a front bumper cover yourself. It also covers when to let a shop do it, such as a bent reinforcement bar or a radar sensor that needs recalibrating.

Painted front bumper questions, answered

Do new bumpers come painted?

Not from the manufacturer. A new bumper cover normally arrives in gray or black primer and still needs a paint shop. Every front bumper here is painted to your factory code before it ships, so it arrives finished.

Where is the best place to buy a painted bumper cover online in the US?

Look for three things: a brand-new genuine OEM or OE-replacement part rather than a copy, a color match done from your VIN and factory code rather than a color name, and shipping that keeps the cover flat. Genuine OEM Painted Parts does all three from Eaton, Colorado, with a lifetime warranty on the paint and nationwide delivery.

How much does it cost to just paint a bumper?

A body shop quotes a respray job by job from its hourly rate, the prep work and any blending into the next panels, so there is no fixed number. A brand-new front bumper from our catalog, painted and delivered, typically costs about $990, and most sell between $830 and $1,230.

Will a painted front bumper fit if my car has parking sensors?

Sensor and camera openings vary by trim, which is exactly why we confirm your build with the manufacturer using your VIN before anything is ordered or painted. Your sensors snap into the new cover.

Does a new front bumper come with the grille and fog lights?

You receive the painted bumper cover itself. The grille, fog lamps, sensors and trim transfer over from your original cover as long as they are in good condition.

Will the painted bumper match my car's color exactly?

The paint is mixed to the exact formula behind your factory code, the same code a body shop would order for a repaint, and we verify that code against your VIN with the manufacturer. On a heavily sun-faded finish or a car that was resprayed in a different color, any code-matched part can read slightly different, so ask us first and we will talk it through honestly.

How long until my painted front bumper arrives?

Paint work takes 5 days once the bumper reaches our shop, and most orders deliver in 5 to 7 business days. Every shipment is insured, and if you are near Eaton, Colorado you can collect in person.

Is it cheaper to repaint my bumper or replace it painted?

If the cover is sound and only scuffed, a local respray can be cheaper. Once it is cracked, has broken mounting tabs or has been painted before, repair hours stack onto the respray and a fixed-price painted replacement is usually the cleaner comparison. Put an itemized shop quote next to the catalog price for your exact bumper.
